Job Summary
Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees according to menus, recipes, and portion guidelines. Plate items with garnishing instructions, ensure proper freshness and seasoning, and stock kitchen stations while maintaining safety and sanitation protocols. Assist other staff, communicate shortages to supervisors, and clean appliances and work areas to ensure functional operation. Perform duties as assigned by the supervisor while promoting positive public relations with residents and families.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
- A minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training
- Good communication skills
