Job Summary
Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees using standard recipes and portion guidelines. Plate items according to garnishing instructions, ensure proper freshness and seasoning, and stock kitchen stations while maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols. Communicate with supervisors regarding shortages, follow food rotation policies, and assist other kitchen staff as assigned. Maintain a professional appearance and promote positive relations with residents and families. Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor to ensure safe, secure, and dignified care for all individuals.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school
- A minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training
- Good communication skills
