Job Summary

Prepare and serve appealing, tasty meals per the menu and schedule, ensuring proper temperature and presentation. Manage special limited diets per policy and physician orders, identifying and correcting menu errors as needed. Store, date, and rotate food according to guidelines while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen environment. Relate to residents courteously and cooperatively, performing other duties assigned by the supervisor. This full-time weekend role at Koelsch Communities memory care requires a flexible, detail-oriented cook with a food handler's certificate, working 6:30 AM to 2 PM.

Required Qualifications

Completed an approved Dietary Manager's Course or possess a ServSafe Food Handler's certificate
Possess an upbeat, positive, flexible, and enthusiastic personality
Be an honest and dependable individual
Maintain proper hygiene
Be professional in dress and presentation
Be willing to be active during entire work shift
Be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in Standard English
Be a mature individual
Possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Have strong organizational skills
Have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Be detail and team work oriented
