Control food usage to minimize waste while preparing and cooking orders for daily operations in a timely manner. Advise the supervisor of low inventory items, assist in receiving and taking inventory, and restock items as needed through the shift. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed state and local Health Board inspection requirements. Keep work areas, including reach-ins, walk-ins, and counters, clean, neat, and well-organized. Report all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor and may assist with ware washing or other kitchen duties. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments, occasionally interacting directly with guests. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously while demonstrating portion control and presentation skills. This role requires at least one year of fast-paced kitchen line experience, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and may involve nights, weekends, and holidays.
