Job Summary
Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in a behavioral healthcare setting. Responsibilities include meal preparation, kitchen cleanliness, proper food storage, and assisting with dietary operations to support residents’ health and wellbeing. Duties cover meal preparation per menus and production schedules, following standardized recipes, ensuring proper storage and sanitation, completing temperature logs, and assisting with dietary support and kitchen operations. Part-time role with weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) in Delray Beach, FL; background check and drug-free workplace required; EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum six (6) months of institutional cooking experience
- Ability to follow menus, recipes, and food safety procedures
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work weekends
