Job Summary
Cook position at ACGBBQ, LLC (Sonny’s BBQ franchise) responsible for grilling, operating fry and bread grills, reading orders via KDS, complying with Sonny’s BOH terminology and procedures, maintaining a clean workstation, and adhering to sanitary and food preparation guidelines. Must be able to read orders, follow protocols, use a meat slicer, work with sharp knives, and perform other duties as assigned; physical requirements include handling up to 90 pounds and working in a wet/humid environment. On-the-job training or certification programs may be required by the company or state.
Required Qualifications
- Related experience and/or training in the restaurant industry.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to be calm under pressure.
- Effective time management skills.
- Must be dependable and can maintain a flexible schedule.
- Attend and successfully complete any ongoing training or certification programs required by the company, federally, or by the state as it relates to this position.
