Job Summary
Cook at SONIC Drive-In oversees the Appetite Satisfaction Department and operates stations including Food Production, Grill, Fryer, and related tasks. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking food orders to meet product quality standards, food preparation and portioning, grilling, operating fry station, dressing items to order, packaging items and ensuring product quality and consistency, and thorough cleaning (trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, dishes, sanitizing). Requires ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays; flexibility; good communication; basic math and reading skills; ability to follow directions; adherence to uniform and hygiene standards; willingness to cross-train on all stations; and a team-oriented approach to keeping the drive-in clean and safe. Required Qualifications
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays

- General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations preferred, but not required
