Job Summary
Cook at SONIC Drive-In responsible for operating stations (Food Production, Grill, Fryer) and completing tasks to prepare and package menu items, maintain cleanliness, and ensure product quality. Duties include cooking orders to quality standards, food preparation and portioning, grilling, fryer operation, dressing items to order, packaging, and sanitation. Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; flexible to business needs; communicate effectively; follow directions; adhere to appearance and hygiene standards; cross-train across stations; team-oriented; and contribute to a clean, safe drive-in environment. Required Qualifications
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards
- General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations are preferred, but not required
- A willingness to cross-train at all the stations
- Motivated individuals who are team players and committed to keeping our drive-in clean and safe
