Job Summary
Cook, responsible for cooking, preparing, and packaging food product per operational and quality standards. Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned. Comply with all company policies and sanitation standards. Perform regular cleaning tasks (trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, wiping counters, sanitizing prep areas, cleaning equipment, grease disposal). Maintain regular attendance. Report customer or employee issues to MOD. Move and stock food weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned. Time/Shift: irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge/Skills: general restaurant/retail knowledge, basic math and reading skills, effective verbal and written communication, ability to follow directions, multitasking. Work environment: standing, bending, reaching, lifting, exposure to heat and hot liquids, freezer exposure, variable temperatures.
