Job Summary
Line Cook position located in St. Augustine, FL, responsible for preparing food items to standardized recipes in a sanitary and timely manner, setting up work stations, distributing prepared food to all service areas, restocking items, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, and assisting with sanitation and kitchen upkeep. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, Florida SafeStaff certification within 90 days, 3+ years of culinary experience in a high-volume dining environment, ability to read/write/speak English, basic math skills, and willingness to assume a leadership role. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Florida SafeStaff certification required or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of date of hire
- Three (3) or more year’s culinary experience in a high volume full service dining environment
- Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office and data type programs
- Basic knife handling skills
- Willingness to provide a leadership role
