Job Summary

The cook is responsible for preparing and directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and following established food production programs and procedures. Prepare high-quality food items using methods such as grilling, steaming, and frying, follow recipe guidelines to meet guests' expectations, coordinate food orders to support timely delivery to tables, and ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities also include setting up the kitchen before opening, stocking supplies, portioning and prepping items, shucking oysters, peeling shrimp, keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, labeling and dating food for freshness, and reporting to work on time in a neat uniform. Requires collaboration, adaptability, strong communication, multitasking, organizational skills, basic math and literacy, and a good command of English; ServSafe Food Handler training is required. Travel is not expected. Location: Panama City Beach, FL, USA.
