Job Summary
Cook responsible for providing high quality meals to residents, guests and staff by preparing all food using daily planner and SLC standard recipes, and working the food line during mealtimes. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards, respond quickly to resident/guest needs, and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with residents and coworkers. Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred. Must communicate clearly in English and be willing to obtain necessary food handling and sanitation licenses. Basic computer skills (Excel and Word) are required.
