Job Summary
Cook at Avamere at Mountain Ridge to prepare nutritious meals for residents across Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living. Ensure meals are palatable and visually appealing, follow portion control procedures, coordinate with the facility dietician, review and maintain menus, assist in serving meals, and uphold sanitation and food safety standards in a high-volume kitchen.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High-School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Assisted Living or other related Health Care Community
- Must have a food handlers’ card
- Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- Must be knowledgeable of food preparation procedures
- Must have knowledge of sanitation and food safety procedures and rules
