Job Summary
Prepare delicious, colorful meals that enhance the dining experience for residents, ensuring high-quality food presentation and adherence to standard recipes and budgeted costs. Supervise kitchen operations under the Dining Services Director, manage dishwashing and equipment maintenance, and monitor safety protocols to prevent foodborne illness. Approach residents and staff with a friendly, service-oriented demeanor while maintaining a drug-free workplace environment. This full-time role offers hourly pay between $17.70 and $21.06 at Spring Arbor Senior Living of Salisbury in Midlothian, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be flexible/adaptable, pay attention to detail, and have a sense of teamwork
- Must possess good time management skills and a keen awareness of safety
- Must possess current manager's level food handler permit
- Must have positive Criminal Background Screening
- Must adhere to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy
