Job Summary
Cook role supporting Culinary Director in preparing high-quality meals for residents, serving meals and snacks timely, assisting with required documentation, helping with menu planning to promote food quality and variety, maintaining inventory and storage cleanliness, training new employees, and evaluating menu items to ensure proper quantities for a senior care center in Gunnison, CO; requires high school diploma or equivalent, Safe-Serve/HACCP certification, and a Colorado driver’s license. Full-time, shift is 8 hours; compensation $18.90-$23.40/hour with benefits and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years in high-volume food preparation (preferred)
- Safe-Serve manager certification or willingness to enroll in HACCP training
- Eligible for Colorado Driver’s License; valid within six months of employment
