Job Summary
Operate and manage the Satellite Production and Utility food service area to ensure nutritious, attractive meals prepared and served daily; maintain proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards; manage ordering and inventory records; attend Food & Nutrition Services meetings; interact positively with scholars, staff, parents, and the community; demonstrate dependable attendance and punctuality; perform other duties as assigned; collaborate with a team in a medium-work environment with ADA accommodations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current Accredited Kitchen Manager Certification or the ability to receive within 90 days of hire.
- Must have adequate reading and mathematical abilities.
- Must possess the capability to maintain accurate ordering and inventory records.
- Must possess the ability to work in a professional/courteous manner with scholars and staff.
- Ability to participate as a member of a team.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment.
