Job Summary
Cook prepares and serves quality meals, maintains hygiene and safety standards, and follows dietary restrictions while possibly working in a healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree (or equivalent) or two (2) years’ work experience required
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Cook in a commercial environment
- Ability to adjust recipes and read/comprehend recipes or instructions
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
- Knowledge of hygiene factors in food preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
- Must possess or obtain a valid CPR certification and SAMA training within 30 days of hire
