Job Summary
Support cooks in the Williams College dining operation by assisting with food quality, temperature control, taste, presentation, garnishing, and overall sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and storage areas. Prepare food per First or Second Cook instructions using standardized recipes; complete end-of-meal production reports; maintain cleanliness of service and food areas; operate kitchen equipment (Robo-Coupe, slicer, food processors, peeler, knives); accurately label items for allergens using Net Nutrition and Bartender program before storage or service; follow HACCP guidelines and MA codes for food, inventory control, and sanitation; implement Lean Path waste-reduction and environmental practices; maintain BBP and MSDS training; ensure Steritech compliance; collaborate with manager to establish daily/weekly cleaning schedules and assign duties; perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- One year minimum kitchen experience with some experience preparing and cooking
