Job Summary
Experienced Cook to prepare and serve meals per planned menus and dietary requirements in a skilled nursing facility. Duties include following portion control standards, using standardized recipes, maintaining food safety and sanitation, operating kitchen equipment, and assisting with meal service under the Dietetic Manager. Shifts include day and evening with Every Other Weekend; part-time with potential pathways to full-time, and benefits like DailyPay. Prior healthcare or long-term care kitchen experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred and culinary training is a plus. Must work well independently and as part of a team to ensure resident satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience required
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Culinary training is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
