Job Summary
Prepare and cook a variety of food products according to established recipes and quality standards. Operate and maintain cooking equipment while monitoring temperatures and times to ensure food safety. Label and store cooked items, follow sanitation guidelines, and report malfunctions to the supervisor. Assist with inventory management, adhere to production schedules, and work collaboratively with the team. This full-time individual contributor role is based in Henderson, North Carolina, with weekly pay of $17 per hour and a range up to $20. Candidates need three years of cook experience, a high school diploma, and must be able to lift 50 pounds. Weekend and overtime flexibility is required.
Required Qualifications
- Three years cook and or food service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Able to read and follow recipes accurately
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
