Job Summary
Seasonal cook at Roaring River State Park (Cassville, MO) responsible for preparing food per corporate recipes and standards, assisting Kitchen Manager and Lead Cook to ensure the menu and guest-service expectations are met, adhering to recipes and Safe Food Handling procedures, completing required food and safety logs, and obtaining ServSafe or State Food Handler Certification. Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend and holiday shifts, understand ISO environmental/quality management systems and Health and Safety policies, and perform duties as assigned. Education requirement is High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum culinary training/experience of 1 year.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Culinary training/experience (1 year minimum)
- Obtain ServSafe or State Food Handler Certification in accordance with F&B company policy
- Able to work day, night, weekend and holiday shifts as requested
- Knowledge of food preparation and storage, sanitation requirements and commercial kitchen equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Follows Company ISO management systems, Health and Safety standards
- Adherence to Duties Checklist and other duties as assigned
