Job Summary
Cook prepares and serves meals for residents within the dietary department in a safe and appetizing manner in compliance with dietary standards, policy, and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting or preparing food items and serving meals within scheduled timeframes, cleaning and maintaining kitchen and dining areas, assisting the Dining Services Director with inventory control, reporting loss, breakage or waste of supplies and equipment, and communicating potential problems. Demonstrates a mature demeanor, maintains attendance, and adheres to the work schedule to support the community's care mission.
