Cook - RHC

Cook responsible for preparing daily meals for residents, staff and visitors at Friendship Richfield Town Center in Salem, VA. Duties include correctly and safely using kitchen equipment and utensils for food preparation, service and cleaning; abiding by policies and laws related to food safety and sanitation; preparing nutritious foods by following direction/forecast sheets and accommodating special foods on forecast sheets; following the cleaning schedule of equipment and areas; using communication sheets to inform staff of prepared foods and seeking approvals for changes or substitutions; understanding and using forecasting and work production sheets; checking the tray line after meals for leftovers.
