Job Summary
Cook role at Seaview Village Aged Care Facility to prepare nutritious, culturally appropriate meals in collaboration with clinical staff; ensure meals meet dietary needs and individual care plans; maintain a clean, safe kitchen and uphold food safety standards in line with aged care standards; manage stock, order supplies, and minimise waste; support meal service and promote resident choice and dignity; participate in community events and cultural activities; requires trade qualifications or trade-equivalent skills and a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience; located at Ceduna, SA, permanent full-time with possible relocation support; strong communication skills and alignment with First Nations health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualifications or trade equivalent skills as a Cook
- Minimum of 2 years post-trade experience
- Experience in meal planning and preparation
- Experience monitoring and overseeing inventory and supplies
- Valid Driver Licence (Class C or equivalent)
- Permanent work rights in Australia without needing employer sponsorship
