Job Summary
Set up, stock, and organize work stations while preparing, cooking, and plating food items according to menu standards and recipes. Maintain quality control, ensure proper cooking temperatures, and perform clean up and inventory management using FIFO methods. Hold and maintain applicable certifications including Food Handler, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, First Aid, and ServSafe. Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations while adhering to health department guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in hotels, restaurants or related fields
- Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations maintaining composure and objectivity under pressure
- Pre-employment background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Line Cook, Quick Order Cook, Banquet Cook or similar experience preferred
