Job Summary
Prepare fresh, healthy, and delicious meals following established recipes to meet Quail Park standards for the senior dining team. Ensure all food is safe, scrumptious, and within prescribed health standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Collaborate effectively with residents, families, and vendors to deliver a tasty and enjoyable dining experience. This role requires a minimum of one year of food service experience, with a preference for backgrounds in both restaurant and senior living settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 years applicable food service experience
- Must be able to read, comprehend, write and speak English to interpret menus and recipes and to communicate effectively with residents, families, other team members and vendors
- Must meet all health-related and food handling requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies
- Must maintain current CPR/First Aid credentials
- Must maintain current Food Handlers credentials
- Subject to pre-employment screening including physical, drug and TB testing and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in both restaurant and senior living settings preferred
