Job Summary
Prepare, cook, and serve delicious and healthy food while maintaining courteous and friendly interactions with residents. Ensure cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils, and monitor and record temperatures in refrigerators and freezers. Delegate tasks to Prep Cooks and Dietary Aides, reporting any issues or problems to the Dietary Manager. Comply with state and federal sanitation standards and all applicable health care and safety standards. Promote the Priority Life Care mission and values at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting
