Job Summary
Provide a welcoming and delicious culinary experience for residents; ensure cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils; monitor temperatures in refrigerators and freezers; delegate tasks to Prep Cooks and Dietary Aides; report issues to the Dietary Manager; comply with sanitation and health standards; follow established safety and dietary procedures; contribute to PLC's mission and values while delivering quality dining in a senior care community.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; minimum of 1 year of previous experience in food preparation preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
