Job Summary
Cook meals and prepare high-quality food for patients, visitors, and hospital staff using company recipes and guidelines. Maintain a clean, organized work area by following all cleaning, sanitation, and closing procedures while adhering to health and safety policies. Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently. Full-time positions available with shifts from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Bayhealth Hospital in Kent. Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen (fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English
- Work well in a team environment
- Practice good personal hygiene
- Be neatly groomed
- Be in uniform

Desired Qualifications
- Culinary experience (cook, cooking, line cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, dietary cook, healthcare foodservice, deli)
