Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in accordance with pre-planned menus and physician-prescribed diets. Review menus prior to food preparation, wash, sanitize, and store dishes and equipment, and perform assigned cleaning duties. Properly remove dietary trays and transport them to the dishwashing area. Inspect all equipment for proper functioning and safety, notifying Maintenance immediately of repair needs. Follow established safety and infection control procedures, participate in required inservice training, and maintain safe working conditions while adhering to the dress code. Report all complaints and grievances made by residents, families, and visitors to the supervisor.
