Job Summary
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards while working the hot line and grill station in a high-volume kitchen. Coordinate with the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared accurately and on time, maintaining consistent portioning and following food safety and sanitation protocols. Monitor food usage to minimize waste and keep workstations clean using a "clean as you go" approach. Assist in other kitchen areas as needed. This role offers stable, year-round employment at Pennswood Village with no late nights, including flexible scheduling for every other weekend and some holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hot-line cooking experience
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen or food-production environment
- A commitment to excellent food quality and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and customer-service mindset
- Professional and dependable work habits
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including every other weekend and some holidays
Desired Qualifications
- 3–5 years preferred
- ServSafe certification is a plus
