Job Summary
Prepare food items prior to and during meal periods according to written orders, slicing and chopping meat, cheese, and other products. Communicate professionally with servers and order necessary food and related items. Ensure kitchen appliances are cleaned and turned off at day's end, maintaining work areas in a sanitized, orderly manner compliant with state health and safety regulations. Maintain food product inventory and report any health or safety concerns or violations to management. Perform other related duties as assigned. High school diploma or GED required; prior cooking experience preferred.
