Job Summary
Cook (Part Time) is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting dishes in accordance with recipes, plating guides, and hotel standards across assigned outlets. Requires knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and OSHA-compliant handling of chemicals. Must maintain knowledge of menu items, allergies, garnishes, and plating, with the ability to work with co-workers to ensure timely service, quality, and waste management. Requires flexibility to work weekends/holidays, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds (100 with assistance), stand for long periods, and strong English communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
- Food service certification required.
