Job Summary
Prepares, assembles baked goods, and cooks meals for patients/residents, staff, and visitors within designated facility guidelines, following menus and dietary requirements. Adheres to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation; performs washing and cleaning duties; maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery. Works with internal customers requiring strong communication and teamwork; follows HACCP guidelines, documents HACCP steps and temperatures to ensure safe food handling; operates kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, kettles, slicers, etc.) and demonstrates basic math for measuring ingredients. May require ServSafe certification depending on location. Flexible to accommodate various shifts; part-time role within a hospital setting.
