Job Summary
Part-time cook at Fair Oaks with PM hours: every other weekend 10:15 am–6:15 pm and Friday 10:15 am–6:15 pm; wage $19.00 per hour. Prepare and plate food for residents following all recipes and diet orders. Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and cafeteria equipment, dishes, and utensils. Adheres to food safety guidelines, follows diet restrictions and recipes. Gives effective communication and interaction with residents, visitors and other team members.
Required Qualifications
- Current Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to follow menu and recipes provided
- Knowledge of various diet types (LCS, Puree, Mechanical)
- Team player
- Effective communication skills
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
