Job Summary
As a Cook you will prepare and serve meals following facility menus and dietary guidelines, assist with dietary aide duties, and ensure high-quality, safe, and nutritious meals. Responsibilities include cooking and plating, following therapeutic diets, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, assisting with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning, inventory and stocking, collaborating with the Dietary Manager, and contributing ideas for menu planning and special events.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Desired Qualifications
- Culinary training or education preferred
- ServSafe knowledge preferred
- Healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Team-oriented with good communication abilities
