Job Summary
Prepare menu items from scratch for Hope Dining, incorporating new ideas and welcoming suggestions. Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area while serving the licensed care population from 3pm to 7pm. Some weekends and holidays will be required, with shifts generally ending by 8:30pm. This role supports our CREATE culture of caring, respect, enthusiasm, awareness, teamwork, and encouragement within a not-for-profit community focused on resident-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- can prepare menu items from recipes
- takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen area
- has at least one year experience as a line cook or a degree in culinary arts
- has basic cooking knowledge and knife skills
- has a great attitude and customer service skills
- Some weekends and holidays will be required
