Job Summary
Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management, tailoring meals to meet individual needs and preferences while ensuring residents receive healthy, nutritious, and delicious food. Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience, utilizing exceptional skills and a broad range of cuisines to address social, spiritual, and cultural dietary requirements. This part-time role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and strong communication abilities within Estia Health's aged care community across Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Victoria.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Great communication and documentation skills
- Some experience within a commercial kitchen
- A healthily amount of experience with a broad range of cuisines
- A healthily amount of experience with dietary requirements in response to social, spiritual & cultural needs of our residents
- Current influenza vaccination
