Job Summary
Prepare and bake desserts and soups while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment with proper food handling procedures. Date and rotate stock, coordinate meal service and equipment sharing with colleagues, and communicate cleanup needs with dishwashers and servers. Briefly chat with guests to assess food satisfaction and complete required records for inventory, orders, and budgeting. Work part-time (0.68 FTE) in day or evening shifts at Joseph Creek Village in Cranbrook, BC.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of secondary school
- Completion of college program in cooking
- Food Safe Certification
- A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- A negative TB test
- Up-to-date immunization record
