Prepare tasty and pleasant-looking meals while meeting dietary requirements established by physician's orders, including substituting menu items as needed. Assure food items are appropriately stocked, labeled, and fresh, then cover and store unused food according to standards and procedures for quality and safety. Clean work surfaces during the shift by cleaning as you go, covering floors, wiping down counter space, and completing the daily cleaning schedule prior to shift end. Cooking experience in large quantities is required along with the ability to follow recipes and diet restrictions.
