Job Summary
Prepare food using basic and advanced cooking techniques, follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines, and meet production schedules in accordance with health, safety, and sanitary procedures. Responsible for processing food items, proper utilization and storage of food and supplies, and maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, supplies, and work areas. Collaborate with Providence Swedish Edmonds team to deliver patient-focused meals; requires 1 year of related experience and a National Food Handler Card. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and adherence to recipes and plating standards in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Required Qualifications
- National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority
- 1 year of related food preparation experience in a full service food service operation such as a hotel or restaurant where the majority of products were prepared on premises from fresh ingredients
