Job Summary
Cook – Nutrition Services role responsible for preparing food using basic and advanced cooking techniques, following standardized recipes and plating guidelines, meeting production schedules, upholding health, safety and sanitary procedures, properly utilizing and storing food and supplies, and maintaining clean equipment and work areas. Requires National Food Handler Card and 1 year of related food preparation experience in a full-service operation such as hotel/restaurant.
Required Qualifications
- National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire
- 1 year - Related food preparation experience in a full-service food service operation such as a hotel or restaurant where the majority of the products were prepared on the premises from fresh ingredients
