Job Summary
Cook responsible for accurately preparing and serving meals according to planned menus and physician orders, following verbal and written diet orders, communicating with the director of dietary services, maintaining a sense of urgency to ensure meals are timely and satisfying, upholding food safety and sanitation protocols at all times, and performing duties as assigned. Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care dietary setting is preferred; must be able to follow instructions and lift, bend, and stand for long periods in a busy kitchen environment.
