Job Summary
Responsible for the production of all food for patients, cafeteria, and catering services while adhering to production standards, recipes, and regulatory requirements. The cook will maintain food safety and quality, oversee inventory and ordering, and provide leadership in food production. Essential responsibilities include following established food preparation and storage procedures, ensuring customer satisfaction, effective use of leftover food, and achieving budgeted food cost goals.
Required Qualifications
- Three to five years food service experience in health care setting
- Training in food safety which meets state food code requirements strongly preferred
