Job Summary
Under the direction of the Sous Chef, the cook maintains standards for the preparation and presentation of food including tasting, presentation and sanitation. Essential duties include assisting the Sous Chef and Cook with quality and portion control of product, being flexible to work in all kitchen areas, promoting positive guest relations and handling guest complaints, aiding other line employees with daily responsibilities, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, storage temperature and environment, striving to eliminate over-production and over-purchasing, maintaining quality inventory control, and ensuring production and storage areas meet city/state health department codes. The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment and contributing to a positive public/employee relationship within the Noodle Bar and Jubao Palace locations at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa.
