Job Summary
Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and catered events while operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, and mixers. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet safe and sanitary standards. Monitor cooking temperatures and verify food freshness by checking quality, rotating stock, and using thermometers. Wash, peel, cut, and seed produce; carve meats and seafood; and bake breads, rolls, cakes, and pastries. Season, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes with supervisor guidance. Compile food usage records, assist with inventory, and forecast preparation needs. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and thanking guests while maintaining company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to push, pull & lift items weighing 40 pounds or less
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to operate equipment, including but not limited to an oven, stove, dishwasher, slicer, coffee machine, steamer, mixer, and chef's knives
- Ability to monitor, cook and prepare foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently
- Ability to use methods such as tasting, smelling, or utilization of food thermometers
- Ability to ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters and other equipment
- Ability to inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
- Ability to ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, rotating stock and following food company labeling & dating procedures
- Ability to season, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes with guidance from supervisor, using various kitchen utensils and equipment
- Ability to wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare for consumption
- Ability to carve, trim and prepare meats and seafood for hot or cold service
- Ability to bake breads, rolls, cakes, and pastries
- Ability to compile and maintain records of food usage
- Ability to assist with inventory
- Ability to follow food specification amounts provided by supervisor
- Ability to assist in forecasting of preparation needs
- Ability to prepare and serve food to customers in a timely manner
- Ability to communicate with supervisor regarding kitchen equipment/supply needs
- Ability to adhere to and promote company standards for safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation, uniform guidelines, and productivity
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers
- Must be available for 9:00 am-5:30pm shifts
- Must be available for Full Time hours
- Must be located in Tulsa, OK
