Job Summary
Cook responsible for preparing and cooking food per customer orders across dining room, catering, and delivery settings; maintain cleanliness and safety standards, manage inventory and supplies, and assist management to ensure quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. Requires knowledge of food handling safety, permit maintenance (ServSafe), ability to operate industrial kitchen equipment, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; collaborates with staff to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalence
- 1-2 years’ work experience as a Restaurant Cook
- Demonstrated knowledge of Food and Beverage services handling practices and food handling safety training, and possession and maintenance of current food handling permit, obtaining ServSafe Certification as directed
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kitchen-related operations and the ability to safely operate industrial kitchen machinery, stoves, grills, ovens, etc.
