Job Summary
Cook duties include preparing and serving quality meals for senior living residents, ensuring dietary needs and texture-modified options as directed, maintaining HACCP and food-safety compliance, and keeping accurate records and inventory. Reports to the Executive Chef and contributes to a complete menu that delights residents and guests. Requires ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain), high school diploma/GED, and one year of relevant experience; full-time schedule includes days/evenings/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and special diets
- High school diploma or GED accepted
- Maintains a current ServSafe certification or able to obtain ServSafe certification
