Job Summary
Prepare ingredients, cook a variety of dishes, and plate meals to a consistently high standard while ensuring excellent presentation before service. Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards, keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations across breakfast and dinner shifts on a rotating roster from Monday to Sunday.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Working rights within Australia or New Zealand
