Cook

Cook and present food for venue operations according to established quality standards. Follow established preparation and presentation procedures per venue requirements. Ensure proper amount of product is available for backup and prepare additional as necessary while minimizing waste and leftovers. Clean and maintain work areas, utensils and equipment. Complete production sheets, temperature logs and other records as required. Comply with company and department food safety policies and procedures. Keep supervisor informed of product shortages/needs or any other concerns on products. Do prep work for next shift or next day, properly label and date-mark all products, and record discarded products. Document product transfers. Help take out garbage and maintain clean storage areas. Report 100% of tips per departmental policy. Communicate with staff and outside representatives to maintain an effective operation. Safeguard assets and comply with department, company, and regulatory policies. Monitor casino environment and follow safety procedures. Work as part of the team to ensure guest satisfaction and asset protection. Follow personal appearance standards and professional attire. Deter guest intoxication in accordance with policies. Attend required meetings and training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
